How community giving works
ExperimentOS is built on top of open source, standards, and communities that fight for a better web. We care about this stuff… so we fund it.
Every Standard subscription allocates a contribution to a cause. Subscribers can pick where it goes. If they don’t, we split it evenly.
Recipient organisations get a monthly payout total from ExperimentOS. We do not share subscriber identities or any user-level data.
1) You subscribe
10% of whatever you pay is allocated to community causes. It’s revenue-based, so it scales fairly.
2) You choose (optional)
Pick a supported organisation. No choice? We split your contribution evenly across all active causes.
3) We publish the totals
This page shows the totals by cause and over time. Full transparency without exposing anyone’s personal data.
Where the money goes
We support organisations doing real work: advocacy, infrastructure, journalism, and community support. If an organisation isn’t active, it won’t be shown here.
Causes are being configured
We’re setting up contributions and verifying recipient details. As soon as the first payout runs, this page will show live totals by organisation and month.
If you’d like to suggest an organisation, please get in touch.
